Jake was asked what he was thinking when he wrote John Deere Rockstar and he said, "Everybody has dreams, but some dreams don't happen in the spotlight. Lots of little boys and girls dream of being a farmer and don't get the glory but they would do anything to get their own piece of land. They work hard to get where they are.
