The CD launch party was a huge success. Jake sold more Cd's last weekend than he has at any other show. Special thanks to Mike at the Rusty Neelde and jane and her crew and Reins of Hope. It is people who give in this world who make life fun. Jake is so glad that good people exist and that he has the support of people just like you.

Thanks to all of the fans that came out to LeRoy's last weekend. We hit capacity and it was a great crowd for a full house. We are so glad to be a part of helping the McMillian family.

We had a great weekend at the Lazy E arena in Oklahoma. A two night performance with the top 15 Cowboys in the world, 8 current and past world champions and a lot of fans. The nonprofit fundraiser for 4RKids was a huge success, we’ve been asked to put on a concert once they build the new rubber field. We met some amazing young adults who have a strong passion for life.

So many great things are happening now and we can only thank God for his blessings. The CD is finished and we should have the finished products and be ready to sell them by November. Just in time for Jake’s performance at the LazyE, he will also be doing a benefit for a wonderful affiliation in Enid, Oklahoma called 4RKids. A portion of all CD’s sold during this time period will be donated to 4RKids; we are honored to be a part of helping such a wonderful organization. If you are in Oklahoma keep an eye out for the times that Jake will be on the radio stations there and there will also be a news release in the Enid Newspaper. Like I said, we extremely blessed right now and are just VERY thankful for the opportunities that are coming our way.

We had such a great time at Stoutfest last weekend. The weather cleared just in time and it turned out to be a perfect evening. Thank you so much to everyone that came out. Since then Jake has been very busy finishing the CD, he's bound and determined to get it finished in time for a CD Release party on December 15th.

Jake was in the studio again yesterday and recorded Guts, Guns & Jesus. A special thanks goes out to all of you that serve our country!

There’s so much going on that I don’t know where to start. They guys were at the radio station recording for the upcoming Dance on October 6th at the State Fair Expo Center after the Rodeo. You should be able to hear those interviews on KX106 on Thursday, October 4 at 1:20pm Friday at 10:30am and one other interview sometime during the news from now until Saturday. The guys got to play three different songs and we can’t wait to play them at the Rodeo.
Today Jake was in the studio again and he recorded If It Weren’t For You, this just might be my favorite (I think I’m saying that about most of his songs). Such a great song…
We have confirmed that Jake will be playing at the Lazy E arena in the Roper’s Lounge after The World Championship of Steer Roping on November 2-3! This venue is in Guthrie, OK. This is bound to be a great time.

Last week Jake recorded Your Kiss Makes Me High and Guts, Guns and Jesus. He hasn't released Guts, Guns and Jesus yet because he was struggling with allergies and he thinks he can do better (what a perfectionist). Your Kiss Makes Me High is a fun upbeat song and Jake loves performing it. I for one can't wait to hear it live at the Rodeo on Saturday (Oct. 6). Don’t forget to listen to KX106 tomorrow 10/01 at 3:00pm for Jake’s interview.

So many new things happening with Jake. For starters he's going to be on the radio KIX 106 on October 1st at 3:00pm CST to promote the rodeo and his new CD, he will also be on Country 102.9 on Thursday, October 4th at 7:38 am CST. The rodeo on the 6th should be a really good time! We have a very exciting announcement coming soon - but I think we'll enjoy the rodeo for now.
September 23
Last night we had a great night in Abbyville, KS. I can't wait to see everyone at the rodeo on October 6th!
September 13
Thanks to everyone that came out to support Jake last (Sept 12) night at the State Fair! We had a lot of fun; unfortunately we didn’t get many pictures. Don’t forget to come out and see Jake play with Passed Down on September 22 at the Abbyville Auditorium, it should be a great time!
Wednesday, Septiber 11
Don't forget that Jake will be performing at the State Fair Original Beer Garden tomorrow night at 6:00pm (Wednesday, September 12). He will be performing a lot of his new along with some requested cover songs. This should be a great show because rhythm extraordinaire Jason Stapleton will be playing with Jake during this show. This is a show you WON’T want to miss!

Jake was back in the studio and he perfected Light It Up in addition to recording Don't Worry Baby. It's hard to choose a favorite between the two! Since we will be at the State Fair getting ready for Jake’s performance next Wednesday we will have to wait another week for new songs to be released – but rumor has it he’s going to try to record two songs the next time he’s at the studio. I’ve put some pictures from today’s recording session up, and I even managed to catch him with a smile or two on his face! Thanks for your support and we can’t wait to see everyone at the State Fair’s Beer Garden in Hutchinson next Wednesday!
Jake spent the day in the studio recording two more originals today (Wednesday, 8/29/12). Can't wait to release these new songs for you! We will be back in the studio next Wednesday as well!
Mark your calendars: Wednesday, September 12th 6:00pm… This is an all request show. Text or e-mail jake@jakegill.net with your request and if you show up then Jake will play your song for you.
Jake did great while in Dallas auditioning for The Voice. He had a lot of fun and met some great people while there.
It was a full house at the Kaleo Café Cantina on Friday, July 20th. Thanks for coming out for the evening. If you have any pictures from that night send them to photos@jakegill.net and we'll try to include them on the website.
Thanks to all of the friends, family and fans that made an appearance to support Jake at the Barton County Fair on July 14th. Jake said, "It was so good to see everyone; I just wish I would have had more time to spend with you guys!"
